Canon announces the EOS 550D

CANON has announced the release of its latest EOS digital SLR camera - the 550D.

The new 18mp camera uses the advanced DIGIC 4 image processor and offers full HD movie recording. The 550D includes Canon’s iFCL metering system that was first launched in the high end EOS 7D.

With the EOS 550D, consumers are free to explore the limits of their own creative vision.”

The new camera should be hitting UK stores February 24th with an RRP of £799.99
