Pentax Announces New K-x DSLR

Pentax has announced a new high performance enty level digital SLR camera - the K-x.
A follow up to last year’s K-m, the new 12.4mp camera offers a live view mode, high speed continuous shooting and video recording. The Live View mode offers an AF Face Detection mode which can detect up to 16 faces in one shot.
Loaded with an SD card and lithium battery, the K-x body weighs 580g meaning it should be nice and portable. The camera body will be available soon in shops in black, white and red variants.
