According to a report on AmateurPhotograper.co.uk, DSLR camera sales in May dipped only 2%. This contrasts strongly with sales on compact digital cameras, which suffered an 11% slump.
The statistics, compiled by GfK Retail & Technology, reveal that 42,800 digital SLR cameras were sold in May.
Why do you think DSLR camera sales are not being hit in the same way that compact digital cameras are?
